Composition made of recording made during the Mazu Festival in May 2011, Taipei. Mazu is goddess of the sea who is said to protect fishermen and sailors. During that month, a temporary temple was built where people came for praying. Every day traditionnal colorful chinese theatre was played near this temple. At the end of the month, there was a all day-long parade with many gods and many tanks full of musicians walking in all the city visiting little temples and shops to protect those places, people burning tons of fireworks.
